We were commissioned by Carlisle Properties in 2001 to carry out design development for property that had been acquired on Gerrard road in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The property acquired was a block of 6 flats, each with 3 bedrooms, sitting on one acre of land. The block of flats occupied a small percentage of the plot area and the Client wanted us to maximise the use of the entire plot of land. The block of flats was re-designed so that it could be used for short-stay accommodation to take care of the needs of individuals who did not require large dwellings.

On a part of the grounds 6 town houses were designed also for short-stay use as each of the units was a luxury 1-bedroom apartment with a bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, guest toilet, kitchenette and lounge.
