Onyike, Kelechi Iheanyi

Fondly called Kelony by friends and schoolmates, Kelechi was born on the 10th of August, 1978, in Enugu, Nigeria. Having flair for artistic design, it was his childhood dream to study architecture. He had his early education at Alvan Staff Primary School, Owerri and Federal Government College, Okigwe.
He went on to the Enugu Campus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he obtained a B.Sc. in Architecture in 2001 graduating top of the class with multiple awards in department and faculty. He went further for an MSc. in Architecture at the same institution finishing in 2004. His MSc. project was on the proposed National Museum of Nigerian History, CBD, Abuja. He had his NYSC programme in Nasarawa State, Nigeria were he received a state award for distinguished service for his efforts in running an art school for young rural children amongst other community development efforts between 2004 and 2005.
He joined ATO Architects Limited in April 2007 after a stint in interior design and construction in Abuja. His core career interests are architectural design, design presentation and the use of colour in architecture.
He has a deep passion for the building of an ideal Nigeria. His other interests include Christian outreach, art, history, travel and tourism.
